Big Gee
Big Gee is a German-speaking pop - funk band around the Swiss actor Pasquale Aleardi .
The band was formed in 2003 , with the name Big Gee borrowed from the nickname of co-founder Greg Zimmermann. In 2005 Big Gee won first prize in the “Funk” category and second prize in the “Pop” category at the German Rock & Pop Prize, which is awarded annually by the German Rock and Pop Music Association.
Her debut album Retrologie is pop-funk with retro influences and was released on May 21, 2010 by Ariola / Sony Music . The band is supported by five other musicians in studio sessions as well as live performances.
