Sun Jin ( Chinese孫晉, born March 13, 1980 ) is a Chinese table tennis player from Hong Kong . She was one of the best players in the world around 2000 and won a silver medal in doubles at the 2000 Olympic Games.
Career
From 1999 to 2001, Sun Jin was nominated three times for world championships. She won silver in doubles with Yang Ying in 1999 and silver in mixed with Feng Zhe. In 2000 and 2001 she was part of the Chinese World Cup team. With Yang Ying she reached the double final again in 2001, in mixed with Liu Guoliang she reached the semifinals.
At the 2000 Summer Olympics, she won the silver medal in doubles with Yang Ying . In the same year, the couple won the doubles competition in the finals of the ITTF Pro Tour series.
Bundesliga
In the 2007/08 season Sun Jin played in the German Bundesliga with TV Busenbach , after which she ended her career.
