The club was founded in 1905 and offers the following sports: badminton , recreational football (without games), women's gymnastics , coronary sports , table tennis and gymnastics .
Table tennis
The most successful division of TV Busenbach is the table tennis department . The first women's team has been playing in the Bundesliga since 2001 , when Krisztina Tóth , Laura Stumper , Bao Di, Irene Ivancan and Nadine Schmidt made the promotion. In 2005 she became German team champion with the line-up of Elke Wosik (Schall) , Krisztina Tóth , Martina Smistikova, Zhu Fang and Han Ying .
At the end of the 2019/20 season, the club announced the withdrawal of the women's team from the Bundesliga, especially for financial reasons. The option to join the department to the neighboring club ASV Grünwettersbach was rejected by the whole club.
In the 2009/2010 season the following players were in the squad:
The second women's team competed in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and had an average age of 13.5 years. Both the first and the second women's team were withdrawn by one class after the 2009/2010 season in order to give the youngsters playing in the club a chance. The second team has meanwhile been canceled, while the first team has found its way back to the Bundesliga.
The team for the 2016/2017 season consisted of:
- Jessica Goebel
- Tanja Krämer
- Jennie Wolf
- Katharina Sabo
- Leonie Hartbrich
- Yana Timina
The men's teams have so far not been able to keep up with these successes; they play in lower grades.
