history

The TTK Anröchte was founded in 1951 on the initiative of Vicar Ebbert, initially as a table tennis department, which emerged from the previously dissolved TTC48 Anröchte . Later, Horst Petry and Heino Stallmeister were responsible for founding the independent association.

The women's team first played in the association league in the 1990s and rose to the top division in 1998 . With the help of Estonian Silja Kibena, they reached the regional league a little later. In the 2003/04 season they played for the first time in the Second Bundesliga North. Two years later they were promoted to the 1st Bundesliga , where they could hold out in the 2005/06 season, but had to relegate the following year. In 2010 the team Jing Tian-Zörner , Aimei Wang, Linda Creemers , Yang Henrich, Andrea Bargel and Monique Posthuma became champions in the 2nd Bundesliga and rose again. 2011 was again relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. Since then, the club has been in the 2nd Bundesliga, including the 2014/15 season, in which the two 2nd Bundesliga North and South are combined into one. Elena Timina , the national coach of the Dutch women's team, has been wearing the Anröchter jersey since 2013 . In the 2015/16 season the qualification for the 1st Bundesliga succeeded again, but this was waived and qualified again so that TTK Anröchte will appear again in the 1st Bundesliga in the 2017/18 season.
