Career
Jing Tian was born in China. Here she played international table tennis very early on. She is a defender. In 1979 she won the International Championships of France in Paris. In 1981 she reached the semi-finals of the Chinese championship. Two years later she played in Tokyo at the World Cup for China in singles and reached the round of 16.
In August 1990 she left China for Germany and joined the Bayer Uerdingen association. In May 1994 she married Ulrich Zörner and from then on went under the name Tian-Zörner. In mid-1996 she received German citizenship.
From then on she was eligible to play for Germany. At the national German championships in 1997 - at the age of 34 - and in 1998 she won the singles title, in 1997 she was third in doubles with Sandra Tönges. At the national ranking tournament DTTB-TOP-12 she took first place in 1998 and 2000.

She only competed for Germany in individual competitions, for example at the ITTF Pro Tour 1998, which she won, or at the 1999 World Cup , where she reached the quarter-finals, and a year later at the European Championships and the Summer Olympics .
From June 2009 she played in the 2nd women's Bundesliga North for the TTK Anröchte. She also trains a few clubs in the Düsseldorf area. In 2010 she won the senior singles world championship in the over 40 age group. In the 2010/11 season she played extremely successfully at position 1 for the newly promoted SV DJK Holzbüttgen in the 2nd Bundesliga and made a significant contribution to staying up with an individual balance of 28: 3. In the 2012/13 season she played for Bayer 05 Uerdingen in the major league. At the Senior European Championships in Bremen, she won the 50+ age group in the women's singles.
