traffic

Public transport

Waldbronn is connected to the Karlsruhe light rail network via the Albtalbahn (tram line S1) or the Busenbach – Ittersbach line branching off in Waldbronn (tram line S11) . In the district of Busenbach, coming from Karlsruhe south of the train station, a branch branches off to Ittersbach from the straight line to Bad Herrenalb. The branch to Ittersbach is used by the S11 line, which also serves the Waldbronn district of Reichenbach and its spa gardens. The S1 line serves the Etzenrot district on the route to Bad Herrenalb.

Regular buses and school buses run to neighboring Karlsbad within and between the districts . In addition, the "Ermlisgrund" industrial park in Waldbronn is served by the Karlsruhe bus route 47.

Road connection

With the Karlsbad motorway junction, Waldbronn has a fast connection to the A 8 motorway . The A5 can also be reached quickly via the Karlsruhe motorway triangle .

education

In the districts of Reichenbach, Busenbach and Etzenrot, pure elementary schools are available for education. This is the Albert Schweitzer School in Reichenbach, the Anne Frank School in Busenbach and the Forest School in Etzenrot. In the schools, in addition to the actual school operation, core time and after-school care take place regularly in the mornings and afternoons. The Albert Schweitzer School in Reichenbach, which was previously designated as elementary, secondary and technical schools, and the Anne Frank School in Busenbach no longer offer any further education. This was outsourced to the education center in the municipality of Karlovy Vary.

There are also four Roman Catholic and two community-owned kindergartens.

In addition to the general education schools, there is a music school in the center of Reichenbach. The offer ranges from early musical education to recorder, piano, keyboard, guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, drums, violin, viola, violoncello, flute, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, accordion, organ, horn and clarinet up to singing lessons. Participation in a rock band as well as a guitar, recorder or brass ensemble is also possible. The music school's chamber orchestra celebrates great success with its concerts under the direction of Toni Reichl.

The Waldbronn Adult Education Center in the Reichenbach district also offers a wide range of courses.
