Albtherme Waldbronn
The Albtherme is a thermal bath in Waldbronn (Karlsruhe district), which was built in 1976 according to the plans of the architects Wedler, Greinert & Bender. The Albtherme gets its water from the municipality's own spring in the nearby spa park. Since the mineral spring is scientifically recognized as such, the community of Waldbronn has been allowed to use the addition "place with mineral spring spa" since May 1993.

Healing indications
The bath is particularly used for diseases of the musculoskeletal system. These are: diseases of the supporting and locomotor organs, degenerative diseases of the joints and the spine, rheumatic diseases. It is also used for follow-up treatment after operations and accidental injuries to the locomotor organs.
Facilities
With a pool area, sauna area and Beauty & DaySpa, the Albtherme is laid out on three floors. The pool area with an indoor pool, an adventure pool with bubble loungers and a therapy pool has a floor area of 1200 square meters. A swimming channel inside the pool leads to the outdoor pool with sunbathing area. The temperatures are between 32 and 35 degrees. There are various bubble banks, massage jets and whirlpools. Water aerobics take place Monday through Saturday. Rheumatism League courses take place in the therapy pool.
On the upper floor there are three textile-free sauna areas on 1100 square meters, each for mixed, men and women. Steam baths and Finnish saunas are located in all three areas.
In the lower area of the Albtherme there is a Beauty & DaySpa area with themed massages, facial treatments, manicures, pedicures and a Dead Sea salt grotto.
The Albtherme, which was awarded five wellness stars by the Baden-Württemberg Spa Association in 2015, also has a restaurant, a book room and a shop. The Albtherme is connected to local public transport via the bus stop of the same name.

As a wellness facility, the Albtherme Waldbronn is aimed at leisure visitors, even though the health benefits of a stay in the thermal bath and medical indications are named.
