content

Big M., the billion dollar, actually small-minded, but pompously inflated entrepreneur, is celebrating his fiftieth birthday. His family, celebrities and even Justitia , the goddess of justice, are honored. A huge fireworks display is planned for the climax. But the light effects come from the blue lights of the approaching police. The uninvited tax investigation interrupts the party, Big M. in handcuffs, a catastrophic end to a previously glorious time. And this time is now leafed through in flashbacks: the history of a company and the history of a family, closely linked. The machines that will create wealth are nowhere near the best sellers they are spent on. But the public wants to be blinded, the banks are forcing the young entrepreneur to borrow. His wife Vera, his secretary and his brother Rocky all play along. The bubble of imaginary machines from TexFlex is getting bigger and bigger and it will burst. But until then, many remain silent, because Big M. gives his country a lot, he takes care of his family, he is a role model.
