Annika Martens

Annika Martens (* 1977 in Buchholz in the Nordheide ) is a German theater and film actress .

Career

After graduating from high school, Annika Martens worked with street children in Colombia for four months. In her hometown of Hamburg , she then played the role of Marie in Georg Büchner's Woyzeck in a free theater group , while she worked for eight months in an institution for the disabled. From 1999 to 2002 she completed training as a breathing, voice and speaking teacher at the Schlaffhorst-Andersen school in Bad Nenndorf, Lower Saxony (see Schlaffhorst and Andersen method ), which is supported by the CJD (Christian Youth Village Association in Germany ). From 2002 to 2006 she studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, founded by Max Reinhardt . During her studies Annika Martens already played all female roles in Bertolt Brechts Baal under the direction of Veit Schubert and at the studio theater of the HfS Ernst Busch ( bat ) Elisabeth in Friedrich Schiller's Maria Stuart under the direction of Philipp Stehmann. Annika Martens was a member of the acting ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe from 2006 to 2011 . In July 2010 she was awarded the audience prize, the “Golden Fan”, donated by the Kunst und Theatergemeinde (KTG) Karlsruhe.
