The Black House is a television film from the crime series Tatort , which first aired on October 16, 2011 on Das Erste . It is the 21st case for the Constance chief inspector Klara Blum , portrayed by Eva Mattes . For her colleague Kai Perlmann , played by Sebastian Bezzel , it is the 17th case of the investigative team.
action
The painter Martin Neumann, chairman of the cultural center “Kulturfabrik”, was murdered on his farm by means of an electric shock caused by a manipulated electrical box. His body is found by the successful crime writer Ruben Rath, who is also on the board of the Kulturfabrik. While Commissioner Kai Perlmann is interviewing Rath, Klara Blum, the head of the investigation, visits the young waitress Susanne Gauss in the culture factory. The young woman sat as a model for Neumann on the evening of his murder. Blum witnesses quarrels between the gallery owner Simone von Sallari, the composer Thomas Backhausen and the writer Peter Jeschke. The commissioner also finds out that Neumann had sexually molested Susanne Gauss and that there were fights.
A short time later, Simone is found dead by Sallari. The hobby hunter's high seat was sawed and she fell into the blades of a harrow placed underneath . The two victims shared a sexual interest in the pretty Susanne Gauss, which is why she is suspected of having to do with the deeds. Klara Blum finds out that the young woman has a relationship with Rath's son Ferry, who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome . Both try to hide their relationship from the control-obsessed father Ferrys. After reading into Rath's crime novels, the commissioner realizes that the crimes were committed along the lines of the murders in his novels. Now a race against time begins, as there is another band and a third victim is feared. During the investigations, Ruben Rath and Thomas Backhausen, CFO of the Kulturfabrik, are the target of the investigation. Since the tracks at the scene indicate Sallari on Backhausen, this is in custody taken, but needs to be released after a short time. A little later he dies in the explosion of a manipulated gas bottle, a method of murder that Rath described in his third novel.
When Rath was shot one night, the bullet barely missed him. His fourth, as yet unpublished book is about the deeds of a sniper. The writer is then placed under police protection. In the meantime, during a house search, the commissioners find out that Peter Jeschke, ex-CFO and unsuccessful crime writer who works as a temporary worker in the Kulturfabrik, is the murderer and that Ruben Rath is said to be his next victim. When they arrive at Rath's estate, Jeschke threatens the writer in the boathouse with the stolen rifle of the killed Simone von Sallari. He also has Ferry Rath under his control. A scuffle ensues in which Jeschke is shot by Ferry with a nail gun .
Jeschke, who could not stand always in the shadow of the successful author Rath, wanted to take revenge for the fact that his works were not appreciated by the members of the board of the Kulturfabrik. After he committed the murders, he wanted to write a book himself and was sure that the book with the subtitle would be a success after authentic cases .

criticism
“A serial killer is around at Lake Constance. As perfidious as the killing methods, the pattern is weird: Here someone kills based on the example of a crime writer's novels. Thomas Bohn screwed together a mediocre investigative thriller with an all too obvious mixture of imaginary motives for murder and alleged suspicions for Eva Mattes. Conclusion: crime thriller off the rack - also suitable for Fritz Wepper & Co! "
“A shrewd author, a good story and excellent actors - basically all the ingredients for an exciting crime thriller were there. But the courage was probably lacking to implement this Blum "crime scene" more effectively. "
Unfortunately, "The Black House" has not turned out to be a good thriller at all. The film is simply far too boring for that. "
“In this“ crime scene ”too, one follows the investigations of Blum and Co. spellbound, groping in the dark until shortly before the end. The actors are also impressively good, above all the 27-year-old newcomer Jonathan Müller […]. Annika Blendl also impressed with her portrayal of the yearning village beauty Susanne. Eva Mattes and Kai Perlmann threw their balls dry as usual. Their teasing about illegal fishing and permanent turf were not particularly original. "
