Manfred Boell
Manfred Böll (* 1944 in Linz ) is an Austrian actor and radio play speaker .
Life
Manfred Böll completed his artistic training at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. This was followed by engagements at the Städtische Bühnen Nürnberg , Theater Aachen and Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen. In 1984 Böll moved to the Städtische Bühnen Freiburg , where he staged The Investigation by Peter Weiss and worked in productions by Ulrich Brecht and Thomas Reichert . From 1989 to 2012 Böll was part of the ensemble of the Schauspielhaus Bochum . In addition to various roles in Helge Schneider's Mendy - the Wusical , he was seen there as Prospero in Shakespeare's Storm , as theater director Harro Hassenreuther in The Rats by Gerhart Hauptmann or the old Dogsborough in Bertolt Brecht's The Resistant Rise of Arturo Ui . Böll also played Ferapont in Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov , Pastor Chasuble in Oscar Wilde's Bunbury and stage manager in a stage version of Opening Night .
