The Bikku Bitti or Bette ( Arabic قمة بتة, DMG Qimmat Batta ) is the highest mountain in Libya . It is a northern branch of the Tibesti Mountains, most of which are in northern Chad . Its height is 2,267 meters. In the south of the mountain there are three volcanoes that are still active.
