Bill Godbout

Bill Godbout (born October 2, 1939 - † November 8, 2018 in Concow) was an American computer pioneer and entrepreneur.

Career

He was known for making and selling computer equipment, parts, and electronic kits in Silicon Valley in the 1970s and 1980s.

He and his company Godbout Electronics (and later CompuPro) were very influential in the early years of the PC market. Together with George Morrow he worked on the S-100 bus .

Godbout died at Camp Fire in 2018 . He leaves behind his wife Karen and daughter Brandi.
