The Biografický lexikón Slovenska ( German  Biographical Lexicon of Slovakia ) is a biographical reference work that has been published since 2002 and presents personalities of different national origins who lived and worked on the territory of today's Slovak Republic or who had an external influence on the history, culture and science in this area have taken. The time frame ranges from the early medieval Great Moravian Empire to the year 2000.

Edition, stand

The lexicon is a revised, supplemented and updated version of the six-volume Slovak Biographical Dictionary ( Slovenský biografický slovník ), which was published from 1986 to 1994.
