Biosignal

Biosignals are mostly electrical voltages as a result of biological activities ( e.g. EKG , EEG , EMG , ERG ). When processing them, a distinction is often made between preprocessing and the actual analysis . Preprocessing generally includes analog-to-digital conversion and filtering of the signals. When processing bio-signals, the convolution of discrete functions is of particular importance.
