The Bird Shoulder is a steep mountain ridge overgrown with tussock and lined with debris heaps on Bird Island in the archipelago of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It rises between Wanderer Ridge and Roché Cwm and extends northward towards Roché Peak .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1982 based on the name of the neighboring Bird Sound .
