Birgit Petsch
Birgit Petsch (born February 20, 1963 in Birkenfeld (Nahe) ) is a former German shot putter .
At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1982 in Milan and 1984 in Gothenburg she was each seventh.
She was German runner-up in the hall four times (1981, 1982, 1984, 1985). Outdoors she was third at the German Championships in 1981, 1984 and 1985.
Birgit Petsch started for the LG Bayer Leverkusen from 1980 . She is an orthopedist and a member of the German Association for Orthopedic Foot Surgery .
