Birkir Jón Jónsson

Birkir Jón Jónsson (born July 24, 1979 in Siglufjörður ) is an Icelandic politician ( Progress Party ).

Birkir Jón Jónsson holds an MBA from the University of Iceland (2009). From 2003 to 2013 he was a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the Northeastern constituency . Birkir was a member of changing parliamentary committees, most recently since 2012 on the Committee on Welfare. Since 2009 he has been a member of the Icelandic delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe .
