Birse Castle

Birse Castle is a residential tower in the Forest of Birse in the Scottish county of Aberdeenshire .

Originally it was a three-story residential tower with an attic from around 1600, made of pink granite - quarry stone . In 1911 it was expanded into a castle with an L-shaped floor plan. On the east wing and on the south-east corner it has a corner turret .

Historic Scotland has listed it as a Category B Historic Building.
