Birutė Vainiūnaitė
Birutė Vainiūnaitė (born November 7, 1947 ) is a Lithuanian pianist and music teacher, professor at the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy .
Life
From 1965 to 1970 she graduated at Mariam Azizbekova at the Lietuvos Valstybinė konservatorija in Vilnius and from 1970 to 1972 the Kunstaspirantur at Conservatory in Moscow . From 1975 to 1976 she continued her education at the Paris Conservatory with Vlado Perlemuter . She teaches as a professor in the piano department at the Music Faculty of the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy .
Her father was the composer Stasys Vainiūnas (1909-1982). Her sister Audronė Vainiūnaitė (* 1942) is a violinist.
