The Halpern Point is a headland in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the northwest coast of the Trinity Peninsula , it lies immediately south of the eastern part of the Duroch Islands .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after the Canadian geologist Martin Halpern (* 1937) of the University of Wisconsin , head of the geological team that had conducted field research in this area between 1961 and 1962.
