Bitter von Raesfeld (* in the 16th century; † in the 16th century) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Bitter von Raesfeld came from the Westphalian noble family von Raesfeld , from which numerous well-known personalities arose and belonged to the Catholic faith . He was the son of Adolf von Raesfeld zu Ostendorf and his wife Ermgard von Schencking zu Bevern. His older brother Goswin († 1585) was provost of the cathedral in the Duchy of Münster . Bitter was presented on February 21, 1556 by the canon Bernhard Korff gen. Schmising for the cathedral priest of Adrian von Ense. He died before February 18, 1557, because on that day Hermann von Diepenbrock was presented to the free prebende.
