Björn Wippich (born October 21, 1977 ) is a German badminton player .
Career
Björn Wippich took third place in the men's doubles as well as third place in the mixed at the Hungarian International 2002 . At the Czech International 2002 he was in the quarter-finals of the doubles and the last sixteen of the singles. The year before he had been in the quarterfinals of the doubles at Belgian International 2001 . At the state level, Wippich won more than 25 Saxon titles. The SG Robur Zittau athlete was successful three times at the Southeast German Championships . In 2015, Wippich achieved 3rd place in singles and 2nd in doubles at the German championships in the O35 age group. As a result, he qualified for the 2015 World Badminton Championship, age group O35, in Sweden. Wippich played in the 2014/15 season for the first and second team of SG Robur Zittau.
