The Blériot XII was a French aircraft from before the First World War . The high-decker designed by Louis Blériot was an enlarged version of the Blériot XI .

history

The first flight of the Blériot XII took place on June 12, 1909 . The following August, Louis Blériot took her to the international air show in Reims and achieved second place in the speed competition behind Glenn Curtiss and his Reims Racer . In the same year, the aircraft made the world's first flight with three people on board. The Blériot XII was the first type of aircraft used by the British armed forces in 1910.
