Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1947 for the businessman Wilhelm Schünke. The building, which is based on the New Building style of the 1920s, was designed in 1945 by the Halberstadt architect Alfred Ludwig . The house presents itself as a cubic, staggered structure, with the structure arranged at a corner. The complex also has a long side room that serves as a garage and shed. The property enclosure and the garden are also laid out in the style of the 1920s.
