Leaf stick
In heraldry, the leaf stick belongs to the upper coat of arms and is a helmet jewel . Linden leaves are usually attached to this stick . The leaf stick is mainly used in pairs and can also have several rows of leaves, like hanging on a clothesline. The description of the coat of arms should be so clear that it can be traced. In the Carinthian coat of arms, for example: two golden buffalo horns , each set with five golden leaf sticks, of which three black linden leaves hang down on the right and three red leaves on the left.
The leaf sticks can be attached to lances , poles or horns, whereby symmetry is always in the foreground.
The tinging can show all heraldic colors, but is adapted to the shield accordingly.
