The FC Blau-Weiss 1933 Worms is a German football club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Worms .

history

post war period

The club played in the then second-rate season 1946/47 in the Landesliga Rheinhessen and placed here at the end of the season with 39:13 points in second place in the final table. For the 1949/50 season, the club then moved to the Landesliga Vorderpfalz . After the 1951/52 season , the regional league was dissolved and the amateur league southwest was set up as its successor. With 11:41 points, the club could not qualify for the league over the 14th and thus last place in the table and thus played in the 2nd amateur league Vorderpfalz in the next season.

Current time

In the 2003/04 season the club played in the Worms district league and placed fourth in the table with 60 points at the end of the season. At the end of the 2008/09 season, the championship succeeded here with 70 points, with which the team was able to move up to the Rheinhessen district class . After the 2010/11 season, with just 11 points at the end of the season, it was the last to go back down to the now 1st district class Alzey-Worms . This finally became the C-Class for the 2013/14 season. After an unsuccessful relegation participation at the end of the 2017/18 season with 59 points, the championship and thus the promotion to the B-Class succeeded. After one season as the penultimate one, it went straight back down from this. So the club continues to play in the C-class to this day.
