history

The band was formed in 1995 at Kentucky Christian College in Grayson . The release of their debut album Space in 1996 and the follow-up works Static (1998) and Bleach (1999) took place under the label ForeFront Records and brought them 150,000 albums sold.

In 2002 the band moved to BEC Records, a sub-label of Tooth & Nail Records, and then toured with Relient K , where drummer Jared Byers had previously played.

The band was able to win a Dove Award , which is given for contemporary Christian music.
