Lead Street 1 (Stralsund)
The house with the postal address lead Straße 1 is a Grade II listed building in the city of Stralsund in the lead road .
Erected in 1772 as a two-storey house, the seven-axis house was increased by one and a half storeys in 1878. The plastered building on the eaves has a simple facade , cornices visually separate the floors. The front door is in the central axis.
The building was temporarily operated as a hotel with the name “Rostocker Hof”. It was renovated in 1996 and is used as a residential building.
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 103.
