The thermal spring Blesi is located in the Icelandic Haukadalur in the thermal field of the Great Geyser and the Strokkur in the municipality of Bláskógabyggð . It consists of two parts, the slightly higher hot part pours into a basin that is noticeable due to its bright blue color. The reason for this blue coloration is the fact that the minerals contained in the spring water adopt a structure at the slightly lower temperature that reflects the blue light.
