Blonde is a British house duo from Bristol .
Band history
The two musicians, Jacob Manson alias Thieves and Adam Englefield alias Beluga , met on the Internet. Englefield has been running the YouTube channel Eton Messy , which deals with electronic music , since 2011 . Manson asked him if he could upload his own track there, they exchanged tracks and made remixes. Eventually they made their first song together called Talk to You , which they later released as their first release under the name Blonde .
They first drew international attention in 2014 with their first EP All Cried Out and the title Foolish and Ryan Ashley on it as singers. He made it into the Tipparade, the expanded music charts in Belgium . The breakthrough came that same year in December with the single I Loved You with singer Melissa Steel . It rose to number 7 in the British charts and, after its international release in February 2015, was also able to place itself in the charts in Belgium and German-speaking countries. The follow-up single All Cried Out with the American actor and singer Alex Newell even surpassed the placement of the first hit in Great Britain, but it was not so successful internationally.
