Anzeiger for the Bludenz region , also known as the Bludenzer Anzeiger , is the title of a free Vorarlberg weekly newspaper. The newspaper, founded in 1885, appears in the Bludenz area and in 2007 had a circulation of 13,414.

history

The display for the Bludenz region was founded in 1885 as an display for Bludenz and Montafon by Franz Dworzak, who acted as printer, publisher and editor in charge. The sample number of the apolitical weekly newspaper appeared on March 28, 1884, the regular publication frequency began on April 4. From July 4, 1885, the weekly newspaper appeared as an indicator for the districts of Bludenz and Montafon and also had the additional title of an independent, democratic weekly newspaper with official publications . On September 14, 1929, Franz Possenig took over the newspaper, who subsequently took on the role of printer, publisher and editor in charge. From April 15, 1939, he referred to himself in the newspaper as the chief editor. The initially apolitical newspaper was incorporated into the Nazi press from 1939, but its preliminary publication ended on February 15, 1941. The newspaper resumed printing on July 21, 1945. The title was changed to Anzeiger für die Bezirk Bludenz: official news bulletin of the authorities , the editorship was taken over by the district authority Bludenz. From 1946 the newspaper was published by Possenig Druck, Egger Ges.mbH and received its original title Anzeiger for the districts of Bludenz and Montafon: independent, democratic weekly newspaper with official publications .

In 2002 the name “Montafon” was removed from the title and the newspaper reappeared as an indicator for the Bludenz district . After the bankruptcy of the Possenig Egger company in 2006, the magazine was renamed again. Since June 23, 2006 it has been marketed as an indicator for the Bludenz region with the addition of an independent democratic weekly newspaper with official publications . Today the newspaper is part of the RZ Regionalzeitung GmbH, which, in addition to the Anzeiger for the Bludenz region, also sells the Walgaublatt , the Bregenzer Blättle and the Feldkircher Anzeiger .

The advertisement for the Bludenz region appears in 17 of the 29 municipalities in the Bludenz district . In contrast, the Walgaublatt is sold north of Bludenz . According to a media analysis, the newspaper for the Bludenz region had a circulation of 13,414 in 2007 and had an average of 19,200 readers per issue. This corresponded to a reach of 68%.
