Flower reader

The Bluetenleser was a German-language literary portal on the Internet that was praised by many print media when it was set up. It was carried by mostly very bit- intensive advertising banners , the links of which mostly referred to current book publications and literary magazines .

The portal's sections include program information on literature programs on radio and TV , a literature calendar with information on memorial days and events, an author database with over 400 authors and a collection of reviews , divided into the “books of the season” and the “library of underrated books”. The individual sections have been updated with varying degrees of intensity.

The Bluetenleser was launched by Joachim Leser and was online from July 8, 2004 to September 2011. Since then, the portal has been supplemented by a "Literature on demand" section, which collects video and audio files on literature, as well as an "Online Archive for Literature Journals" funded by the German Literature Fund eV , which the magazine operators have been able to expand. The most important German-language literary journals should be listed there until the year 2001.
