Flower ceremony

In the Japanese technique of ikebana, the flower ceremony Kaden otemae is the expression of a composition in a state of consciousness .

Flower ceremony in skiing

In the context of sporting competitions, the unofficial award ceremonies following the competition are also referred to as the flower ceremony. The official award ceremony with medals , however, often takes place as part of a larger event together with the winners of other disciplines. Flower ceremonies have also established themselves outside of sport.
