Blumfelde

Blumfelde is a private settlement on the farm of the same name in Namibia , around 120 kilometers northeast of Mariental and 160 kilometers southeast of Windhoek . Blumfelde is located at about 1295 meters in the western foothills of the Kalahari .

The settlement is on the main road C25 between Uhlenhorst and Leonardville in the constituency Mariental-Land in the Hardap region on the farm of the same name. Due to its location on the Olifants - Rivier , the vegetation in Blumfelde is somewhat heavier than in the area. Blumfelde consists of several farmsteads, some of which are several hundred meters apart. The area has been affected by wildfires several times in recent years.
