Blumhardt's Literatursalon is a literary memorial that is presented by the Evangelical Academy Bad Boll in its Villa Vopelius. It reminds of the time when the pastor and writer Johann Christoph Blumhardt and his son Christoph worked in Bad Boll . There are significant connections in literary history to Eduard Mörike , Ottilie Wildermuth , Ludwig Richter , Friedrich Mann (the model for Christian Buddenbrook), Elisabeth von Ardenne (the model for Effi Briest ), Hermann Hesse , Gottfried Benn , Richard Wilhelm , Hermann Kutter and Karl Barth . The exhibition shows portraits, autographs and books.
