Božidar Pankretić (born November 9, 1964 in Gaj near Vrbovec ) is the current Minister for Regional Development, Forestry and Water Supply in Croatia . He is Vice President of the HSS party and Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia.

He is married and has two daughters.

education

He went to primary school in Dijaneš up to the fourth grade and finished it in Vrbovec . There he completed a commercial apprenticeship at a secondary school from 1972 to 1982. He studied agricultural economics at the University of Zagreb , graduating in 1988 with a degree in agricultural engineering. There he also did his master's degree (mr. Sc.).

Career

From 1988 to 1996 he worked at PIK Vrbovec as the Deputy Head of Purchasing . In 1996 he was elected Deputy Prefect of Zagreb County.
