Robert "Bob" Lane was a Canadian politician .
Bob Lane was an insurance executive and a member of the Progressive Conservative Party . He was elected to the House of Commons in 1979 and represented the Winnipeg-St. Constituency in Manitoba . James . In the next election in 1980 he was defeated by Cyril Keeper .
