Bodo Hertlein
Bodo Hertlein (* December 25, 1933 ; † December 18, 2004 ) was president of the soccer club 1. FSV Mainz 05 from 1984 to 1988 .
Bodo Hertlein had been youth coordinator at 1. FSV Mainz 05 for several years before his candidacy for club president and was thus able to make a name for himself.
At the general meeting on March 29, 1984, 106 of the 160 people present expressed their confidence in him. Bodo Hertlein took over from Dr. Wolfgang Enders.
With Bodo Hertlein as president, 1. FSV Mainz 05 rose again to the second division in 1988.
