The Bogenfels (also historically Bogen-Fels ) is a well-known Bogenfels , which is located at Elisabethbucht south of Lüderitz in Namibia . It is 55 meters high and a limestone rock in the South Atlantic that is specially shaped as a bridge .
The Bogenfels was already marked on colonial maps of German South West Africa around 1900. Today the rock can only be visited on a guided tour, as it is located in the restricted area national park , the former diamond restricted area .
