The archery guild Rhein-Wupper eV was founded in 1971 in Langenfeld (Rhineland) . The club offers shooting sports with all bow types and classes.

The archery guild Rhein-Wupper eV is a member of the German Schützenbund (DSB) and the Rheinischer Schützenbund (RSB) and sponsor of the Sporthilfe eV of the state sports association of North Rhine-Westphalia .

The club's marksmen shoot the compound bow , recurve bow and long bow . The recurve bow is shot without a sight and stabilizer in the bare bow class or with a sight and stabilizer in the shooting class. It is shot according to gender in age groups.

In the outdoor season, shooting is up to 70 meters outdoors on the Rudolf-Kronenberg Weg archery facility, near Gladbacher Hof. In the winter season (October – March), shooting in the Richrath gym is only 18 meters.

The archery guild has a WA place and a 3D area for practicing archery.

The team's sporting tournament success extends to participation in German championships and, with individual shooters of the Rhein-Wupper archery guild, to victory in German championships and European championships.
