A stickleback (also a drill saw or drill rasp ) is a tool that is also used in woodworking . It is basically a round rasp , but the rasp blades are attached to a spiral turn along the tool up to the tip.

The tip of the stickleback is made like a hand drill and tapers towards the end. This allows the craftsman to drill holes with the tool and then trim them with the rasp teeth.
