Boin

Boin (Japanese slang for "big breasts") is an eroge - Ren'ai adventure that was developed by Crossnet-Pie . The game, published in 2004 for the PC, was also adapted by Milky as a two-part hentai - OVA series, which appeared in 2005-2006. A sequel to the game entitled Resort Boin was published in 2007.

The game has only a very short, simply designed storyline and mainly focuses on the portrayal of busty beauties in their costumes and during sexual acts. The proportion of sexual images is about 90% of the total work.

The male protagonist Daisuke Ichijō ( 一条大介 ) is hired as a teacher at his grandmother's Koromogae private school ( 私立衣更学園 , shiritsu Koromogae gakuen ) - a girls' high school . One of his first tasks is to carry out a "job aptitude test " ( 職業適性診断 , shokugyō tekisei shindan ) - a role-playing game in which the students are examined for their suitability for a certain profession and wear the appropriate uniforms. The first student with whom this new subject is to be tried out is his cousin and childhood friend Nao Iihara ( 飯井原なお ). She has been in love with Daisuke for a long time and is very brash, so that the role play quickly degenerates into sexual acts. Another participant is Mitsugu Tsukushino ( 筑紫野みつぐ ), daughter of the Tsukushino- Zaibatsu (industrial conglomerate) and Nao's best friend, who Daisuke considers her "fateful person" after he saved her from an awkward situation. In addition, Daisuke's older cousin and supervisor Tōko Koromogae ( 衣更透子 ) takes part to check how Daisuke is doing in this new subject, and her colleague, the school doctor Natsuko Makuhari ( 幕張夏子 ).

Origin and publications

The computer game was of the on Erogēs specialized companies Crossnet pie developed. It was first published on September 24, 2004 for PCs with Windows as the operating system. Dennō Club ( 電脳 CLUB) ported the game and released it on May 31, 2007 as a DVD Players Game (DVDPG). On July 31, 2009, Crossnet-Pie released it in a downloadable version.

On April 24, 2005, Ōzora Shuppan made the illustration book Boin Best Selection. "Boin" Official Fanbook (Boin Best Selection― 『boin』オフィシャルファンブック ; ISBN 978-4-7767-9119-5 ) published.

Original video animation

Based on the erogē, Milky produced a two-part OVA series. The two parts of the series to be classified as hentai were published on August 25, 2005 and January 25, 2006 and were titled Boin: Lecture 1 ( boin レクチャー 1 ) and Boin: Lecture 2 ( boin レクチャー 2 ). The role of Natsuko Makuhari is missing in this film version.

A release with English subtitles in the USA followed in 2006 by JapanAnime.

reception

The computer game reached the third place of the best-selling Bishōjo Games in the week of its release . As with many other games of this type, however, sales slumped shortly afterwards and it dropped out of the top 50 two weeks later.
