Bomb attack in Baghdad on August 13, 2015

The August 13, 2015 bombing in Baghdad occurred in the Sadr City district of Baghdad . At least 76 people were killed and more than 200 others injured in a car bomb explosion in a truck. The attack was aimed at the Shiite residents who did their shopping in a marketplace. The IS committed itself to the act .
