Bongoyo is an uninhabited island in Tanzania , two kilometers north of Dar es Salaam . The island is one of the four islands of the Dar es Salaam National Park (DMRS). The holiday island, which is often visited by day holidaymakers, has fine sandy beaches and can be reached in thirty minutes from the Msasani peninsula belonging to Dar es Salaam .
