Boosted Arcas

Boosted Arcas is the name of an American sounding rocket . The Boosted Arcas consists of a starting stage of the ARC Booster or MARC 42A1 type. The summit height of the Boosted Arcas is 50 km, the starting thrust 1.00 kN, the diameter 0.11 m and the length 3.40 m. The Boosted Arcas was launched 78 times between 1963 and 1972.

Variants of the Boosted Acras were the Boosted Acras, the Sparrow Acras, the Sidewinder Acras and the Boosted Acras II.
