Boris Pfaffenbach

Boris Pfaffenbach (* 1962 ) is a German university professor and doctor for internal medicine and gastroenterology .

Life

Pfaffenbach received his license to practice medicine in 1990 . In 1991 he received his doctorate. med. at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . He gained his first professional experience from 1990 to 1992 as an assistant doctor at the Institute for Pathology at the University Hospital Essen and from 1992 to 1997 as an assistant at the Medical University Clinic, St. Josef Hospital, Ruhr University Bochum .

In 1996 he completed further training as a specialist in internal medicine, and one year later he expanded this area to include gastroenterology. He obtained his habilitation in 1998 at the Ruhr University in Bochum. From 1998 to 2001 he was a senior physician at the Medical Clinic I in the Solingen City Clinic and in 2000 he was trained as a medical quality manager.

From January 1, 2002 to March 31, 2008, Pfaffenbach was chief physician at the Clinic for Internal Medicine at the Bethlehem Hospital in Stolberg . Since April 1, 2008, he has been the chief physician for gastroenterology at the Municipal Clinic in Solingen. Since 2003 he has been an adjunct professor at the Ruhr University Bochum. Pfaffenbach lives with his family, wife, daughter and two sons in Solingen.
