The MELITTA was the second steam locomotive on Borkum. It was built by the Krauss company in 1876 ​​with the serial number 631.

history

It was not delivered to Borkum, but to the gravel pit near Westerende, which it later handed over to the Habich & Goth company . In 1888 the company brought it to Borkum, where it was initially used to build the line. With the start of operations, she came to the Inselbahn. In 1900 it got a new boiler until it was sold to a construction company in Emden in 1925 for 10,000 Reichsmarks . The locomotive was probably scrapped there.
