distribution and habitat

Distribution area around the Kinabalu

The Borneo sun canopy is restricted to the north of the island of Borneo. There he lives in forests and grasslands between 900 and 3000 m altitude. The status quo is unclear. The only documented sightings are from the Kinabalu National Park area.

Way of life

Little is known about the way of life of the Borneo sun canopy. The animals presumably feed on insects, other invertebrates as well as small vertebrates and fruits. The animals seem to be mostly nocturnal, resting in holes and crevices during the day. You are preferably on the ground, but you can also climb well. One assumes the Borneo sun canopy lives mainly solitary.
