Bosnian-Herzegovinian badminton championship
Bosnian-Herzegovinian Badminton Championships have been held since 2008. In the same year, the country's junior championships and team championships started . The Badminton Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina was founded in 2004 and joined the European Badminton Association BE a year later. This makes it one of the youngest badminton associations in Europe.
After the break-up of the SFRY , title fights for Macedonia , Serbia , Slovenia and Croatia took place on the territory of the former Yugoslavia . In the meantime there were also championships of Yugoslavia and Serbia-Montenegro .
